• Cyprus Well Awards £400 to Springhead’s Schools Literacy/Drama Programme

  Springhead has received £400 from Cyprus Well, the literature development agency for the South West. Awarded from the agency’s Grassroots Literature Programme, the money will be used to appoint a literacy/ drama professional, experienced in working with young people, to produce an exciting literacy/drama workshop for the centre’s school programme 2011/2012.

• £9,200 AWARDED TO LET’S GO H2O project!

  Sowing Seeds, a locally led funding programme in support of great project ideas benefiting the local community, awarded Springhead £9,200 to implement its water resource management and development project, aptly named Let’s Go H2O.

• ELLIE - the orphaned otter

  Orphaned otter cub rescue has a happy ending

• “Eco-Bathrooms” project is Awarded Funding from the Big Lottery’s ’Awards for All’.

  Springhead received £8,475 from the Big Lottery’s ’Awards for All’ towards refurbishing its bathroom facilities in the ’Stables’ dormitory.
